This is a journal entry from my written journal. 9-17-10 South Africa.
I flew into durban yesterday in the afternoon, I was quite tired but so excited. The land here is so
beautiful, I was in love with africa before i even landed. I am staying in a nice little "ranadovol", little round house with a thatched roof. I am allready addicted to the unique smell of the thatch on the roof. aahh. It is on a hill covered with bananna trees, and you can see the indian ocean about a mile away from here, the waves are huge, this would make surfers very happy from ca, lol, these waves make the waves in santa cruz cry.
I spoke last night at a gathering. I talked about how we dream of changing the world, but God dreams about us. We are created in the image of God, (gen 1:27) so a revelatin of Jesus is a revalation of ourselves. God, 'Foreknew you before the foundations of the world, and predestined you to be conformed to the image of his son. (rom 8:29, So before the world was created, God had a dream. HE took a dream and he wrapped a body around it. You are that dream.
The only time you are jealous of anybody else in the kingdom of God, is when you dont know who yu are yourself. When you know who you are you will not want to be anybody else. Because you are so extremely wonderfully made, and there is such extravagant greatness and destiny inside of you.
When I read the word, when I am aware of his Presence, in worship, praise, healing the sick, ect. I am encountering the person of Jesus christ and the false identities of the world just fall away, and Gods dream comes true. I place a high value on everyone around me, because they are Gods dreams, And I live to make Gods dreams come true.
As I spend time in scripture, and obedeince to the word of God, I am being conformed into his image, then I go minister to every one around me and in doing so, I make sure that I take care of whats on Gods heart, because teir dreams all are happening and so is Gods.
Anyways so last night everyone that was prayed for was healed I beleive. A man with no arches had instant arches in his feet, asthmam sinuses, pains gone.A womans womb moved back into its right place for the first time in her life, it was a great night, people are so hungry. amazing soil here.
This morning I woke up, "which is good",lol.
We drove to town to pick essentials, I prayed for a man with astroke, (no visible change). later in a different market I prayed for a lady with a leg a good 4 inches shorter than the other one. I prayed and it grew out a god 3 1/2 inches, and she was amazed, all the pain left, but it didnt quite come completely out. I asked her 17 year old daughter if she had ever met the Holy Spirit? she said no, so touched her hand and she fell over, so I grabbed her so she didnt bounce on the concrete. she was so rocked by the presence of the Holy spirit, I also prayed for her brother and they were rocked, and willbe coming to the meetings. btw, I will be speaking at different things throughout the week,I luv it it is nonstop, and will only get better and better and allso they started a sunday night meeting for me to teach and train. I walked into a bank, and prayed for the tellers, a few of them had sinus problems, and they were instantly healed. I'm not gonna lie, its kinds like giving candy to a kid here:) I did pray for a man with very little use of his legs, and seen very little change. kind of frustrating on that one. But I am giving every second of my life while i am here to see this stuff break.
Tonight I ministered to a group of youth, they are so passionate. I am soooo in love with the african people, they are such beautifull people, you begin to pray and talk about the holy spirit and they come alive. I told everyone with a burning fire in them to come to the front, half of the young people came up and erupted in prayer, the atmosphere was soo intense, it was awesome. the youth pastor had a leg an inch short and back problems, so I had one of the young afdrica girls grow his leg out. lol, it was so awesome to watch their faces as his leg grew out, adn she started crying. I cant wait till till I get to take them into the rural communities, and to the "tents" (big tents they tke from village to village). its going to be crazy easy and fun. because they hear, and do:) Well its past my bedtime, I go in the morning to go to a meeting with local pastors.

Forever,
dennis

P.s. I told Jesus I wanted to go fishing, hunting something, and see a lion, elephant, ect while I am here, before I leavesometime, lol. so we will see. good night.
